Global Views:  

Global Views features bring home the wider perspective of the global direct action movement. We invite all film makers to think globally and contribute to this section.

 

Global Views:

Award winning Undercurrents will be producing GLOBAL VIEWS for a release later this year. A series of non-profit programs showing direct action protest from around the world.

Global Views is being networked through Beyond TV. We hope the features will inspire video activists worldwide to send us similar features. These features will be integrated into the Beyond TV Global Views section.

The features will be released at a rate of 2 a week. This is almost certainly the most exciting project we're working with at Beyond TV and we look forward to viewing these features with some anticipation.

These are the aims of Global Views

• To empower, build and strengthen solidarity and networks among the world's activists
• To educate the wider public for the need of global co-operation to bring about change.
• To support world-wide mobilisation of people on a mission to prevent further destruction to our planet

Beyond TV will be able to continue the invaluable world-wide networking of the use of campaign video to raise awareness of global environmental and social justice issues.

This project has already connected us with campaigns and video groups across the globe. We will be maintaining links and helping them to get their features up on line in the most effective way we can.
