Become
a partner: Becoming
a partner of Beyond TV is as easy as saying the majick words
"Oh, alright then" and it's done. Then it's simply
a matter of listing yourself or your organisation on the
on-line database and uploading details of your projects
as you complete them.
What are the advantages of being a partner?
The
main advantage would be if you have a message or project
to get out to the general public. There are loads of ways
that we work with partners but the simplest one is to encourage
people to enter details of positive projects into our database.
Becoming a partner can be as simple as putting a description
of your group and your contact details into the Beyondtv.org
database.
We
aim to get a fair few number of hits over the next few years.
If you enter your details to us as a partner then when people
search our database using keywords then a description of
who you are and what you do will pop up.
Yes,
for those of you that know the terminology. It's another
portal site. We'll try to channel our viewers along to positive
projects after they've enjoyed some of the Video or Audio
Features on out web pages.
Campaign
partners:
Our
main focus is to help campaign groups and activists to effectively
network their campaign video and internet media. This is
done through the Beyond TV film festival and web site.

Media
partners:
Our
role as an outlet for independent films and other media
enables us to help a wide range of media partners to find

Musical partners:
The
cross over between independent media and independent music
is extremely rich. Far from simply being a means to blag
tunes, the Beyond TV web site will encourage the making
of inspirational musical features and solicit our readers
to post reviews of new music.

Research
partners:
This
is something everyone can get involved in. The scope of
the Beyond TV website is quite sizeable - we're going to
need a lot of research volunteers to input information about
positive projects into the database. We'll also be contacting
groups who have undertaken similar do-gooding directories
of projects and try to share information with them.

Practical
partners:
Our
practical partners are people who either help us out in
the gross material world of objects - say computer support
- or they're resource contact that other people may benefit
from, e.g. printing, cheap dv tapes, etc.
