The first one is about the different approaches to direct action against war.
The features are mainly in Mpeg format - although some are in Divx format [to save space]
This means that they can be played on the most humble of computers, and mac's and linux as well.
CD's are so much easier to copy that VHS's that we hope that this CD against war will spiral out of our control and become a part of the virucybermap [whatever that is]
Here are some of the features contained -
---
* Zapatistas dismantle a military camp in non violent direct action - v. powerful - 5 mins
* Human Shields - A sketch of the departure of Human Shield activists from the UK and Beyond.
* Storming the CBI. Manchester Gmex - Anti War activists no longer seem prepared to just stand around outside leafleting. Direct Action is becoming more mainstream as show by this piece.
* Fairford - be your own weapons inspector two short pieces of activists breaching the fence at Fairford airbase and generally being naughty. How long exactly are these?
* If I had a Hammer - Trident Ploughshares activists take on Hawk Jets with a Hammer and win. 13 mins

--general information about the CD rom projects---
Basically the cd roms will contain video pieces of 10 mins max each, photographs, rants, art work, music or anything that can be inspiring or poignant to the subject and shows the wide viriety of what people can get up to to stop wars in the world or help people affected by them.
If any of you have any material that would fit these categories we would love to hear from you as we are looking for as varied a content as possible.
Alternative if you would like to suggest any specific groups - individuals that would like to contribute that would be great too- so please pass the message on.
