How to an interface in Dreamweaver.

Fun if you like that sort of thing.

Dreamweaver is great. Dont' get addicted to doing webpages!

We'll use the Web page interface because everyone has a web browser on their computa's nowadays.

We'll do an an auto start for Windows, but on the front of the cd, we'll also say, put it in and click on index.htm

All we need to do is to link to all the Video files from this index page, and it's an interface.

It's nice to add a Still image and a description and a link to the campaign or fuller story as well. Let's find out how!

Open dreamweaver.

File >New

Then Change the page properties like the Title of the page and the background colours

Very good

You may as well create a Table to put all you contents in

Insert Table

Choose one column and as may rows as you have features.

I chose to make the table 80 percent of the screen as I like to have a bit of space and the edges.

This move will give you 7 "cells" in your table.

You can insert your sceenshots and text and links as you see fit.

Links - to make a bit of text or an image a link. Select the text or the image and make sure you can see the properties box. If you can't click Window > Properties

Then in side the "link" box type the Web address.

If you are linking to a file that is going to be contained within the CD, click on the Folder to the right of the box and browse for that File.

You can make changes to the size and type of font in the same way. Experiment. Find a look you like.

To insert an image -
Insert > Image

and browse for the file.
