Capturing
your content:
Live capture allows you to take a video and audio source, such as a
video camera or VCR, and capture it to your computer's hard drive. Your
computer will need some sort of capture device that is compatible with
source hardware. Most camcorders have analog audio/video out jacks that
you can plug into your computer's capture device. You can do it with
firewire as well. But as you are likely to be using an anolgue mixer
for audio and video you probably will need a capture card or USB capture
device.
